Sylvia Hood Washington,PhD, ND, MPH, CLT-LANA is a Klose trained Certified Lymphatic Therapist. She is nationally certified through the Lymphology Association of North America. She is certified both in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (Vodder Technique)-MLD and Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT).
She supports cancer survivors, patients with recent surgeries (especially cosmetic and orthopedic surgery patients), pre and postnatal moms, diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, autoimmune disorders, venous/vein and artery disorders, and those suffering from lipedema, lymphedema and Dercum’s disease
Born with a rare form of congenital lymphedema (lymphedema distichasis) she is dedicated to working with patients suffering from lymphedema, chronic edema and those with compromised immune systems.
Natural Paths for Lymphatic Wellness is one of the few dedicated lymphatic centers.
