The Naperville Municipal Band says goodbye to the 2018 Summer Concert series in Central Park with “Thanks For the Memories.” Until the concert ended early due to the weather, the band thrilled the audiences with selections from West Side Story, Ralph Vaughn William’s “English Folk Song Suite,” and backing vocalist Catherine Lorde’s solo rendition of “As Time Goes By.”
The band also recognized NCTV17 intern Maddie Rambissoon, who’s been working with NCTV17 for the past three years covering many of their band concerts. Maddie heads off to Ball State University to study Telecommunications, where her experience broadcasting the Naperville Municipal Band’s concert series will give her quite the head start!
