Charizma Salon Burglary
A man smashed the glass door and stole the cash box of a Naperville salon on Friday. The incident occurred just after 3 a.m. at Charizma Salon and Spa on Route 59. The criminal concealed his face with a hoodie. The salon owners and police hope security footage can help identify the man. Any relevant information can be reported to Naperville police at 630-420-6666.
Edward Foundation Fundraiser
The Edward Foundation’s annual gala raised almost $1 million last month. The Big Gig: 1001 Nights was the theme that drew nearly 700 people to the event on September 28, where $940,000 was raised. A portion of the funds will be used to purchase a new PET CT Scanner, as Edward Cancer Center’s current unit has been in operation since 2005.
Freemasons Anniversary
Naperville Freemasons celebrated their 170th anniversary on Saturday with a rededication of their mural, located at the intersection of Main Street and Jackson Avenue. Those interested were also given guided tours of the masonic lodge at 34 W. Jefferson.
