Glenstar No Longer Coming to Former Nokia Campus
Glenstar Properties is no longer planning to purchase the former Nokia Campus along the I-88 corridor. Mayor Steve Chirico said in his State of the City address on Monday that the commercial real estate company would be moving into the space. But that deal has fallen through, according to a Facebook post made yesterday by Chirico. The post went on to say that Nokia is exploring other opportunities to fill the vacancy.

EcoLab Water Filters
Happy World Water Day! To recognize it, the Ecolab Foundation and the non-profit organization Wine To Water partnered this morning to assemble 1,700 water filters that will go to families in Nepal, Myanmar, and parts of South America. Wine To Water founder and author Doc Hendley led a presentation at the event, and spoke about how he began working to help others have access to clean water. The water filters use the same technology as kidney dialysis to filter out 99.99 percent of harmful bacteria that cause water-borne illnesses. One water filter can provide clean drinking water for up to ten people for ten years. You can find out more at winetowater.org.
