Illumination at Morton
Fifty acres of woods will transform into a magical winter wonderland for Illumination: Tree Lights at The Morton Arboretum. The one-mile path will be filled decorative designs and lights that dance to holiday music. Over 150,000 are expected to see the tree-mendous spectacle of lights. You can purchase tickets at the door or on the Arboretum’s website.
District 203’s Calendar
At the latest District 203 meeting, the board voted to take election days off for the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 school calendar. They believe this is a safer option for students since some schools are open as polling places, bringing in outside visitors. There will be three days off in the next school year, with one for the following year. The last day of school will not be affected by this change, and is tentatively scheduled to be May 28 for next year.
There’s a new game in town that’s got Naperville residents whirling away with excitement. Located right next door to TopGolf, Whirlyball is loosely described as lacrosse played in bumper cars. The location on Odyssey Court also offers a restaurant called the Pivot Room and eight lanes of bowling. Whirlyball official opens its door to public tomorrow (Sat. 11/23/19).
