‘Jeopardy! James’

Jeopardy James is just one game away from being crowned a champion. James Holzhauer took an early lead yesterday during the two day final of Jeopardy’s Tournament of Champions. He currently holds a $20,000 plus edge over Emma Boettcher who dethroned Holzhauer earlier this year. But the Naperville native has a shot at redemption if he can hold her off today. Fans of Holzhauer can gather at Quigley’s Irish Pub for a watch party at 3:30 P.M.

D204 Reunification Center

Yesterday, the Naperville Park District approved the Fort Hill Activity Center to be a reunification center for School District 204.The site will be a meet-up point for parents and students in case of an emergency situation. The size of the community center, its large parking lot, and the multiple routes to get to the gym are some reasons Indian Prairie School District 204 chose Fort Hill. Now that 204 has its reunification center it can focus on what’s next, which is training its staff for the emergency scenarios.

A sinkhole has opened up in the southbound curbside lane of Wehrli Road at the intersection with 75th Street. The right lane is currently closed as a DuPage County crew works to repair the hole, though the intersection is still open.
