$1 million awarded to boost Naperville’s Energy Grid Capacity
Congressman Bill Foster announced that the City of Naperville will receive just over $1.1 million from the Department of Energy’s Grid Resilience and Innovation Partnerships Program (GRIP).
The funding was made possible by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. It will allow the City of Naperville and Naperville Electric Utility (NEU) to create a system that supports the integration of renewable energy sources and their availability on the grid.
