Former HSI special agent from Naperville sentenced to six years

A former Homeland Security Investigations special agent from Naperville has been sentenced to more than six years in federal prison. Find out what the man did and who else is involved.

$1 million awarded to boost Naperville’s Energy Grid Capacity

Congressman Bill Foster announced that the City of Naperville will receive just over $1.1 million from the Department of Energy’s Grid Resilience and Innovation Partnerships Program (GRIP).

The funding was made possible by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. It will allow the City of Naperville and Naperville Electric Utility (NEU) to create a system that supports the integration of renewable energy sources and their availability on the grid. More information about the GRIP program can be found online.
