St. Patrick’s Day Arrests

The Naperville Police Department made three arrests for driving under the influence and issued 22 speeding citations during the St. Patrick’s Day Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over enforcement campaign. The NPD joined state and local law enforcement and highway safety partners in the campaign. It was also in part of the statewide Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over and Click It or Ticket campaigns.

Tax Savings in District 203

The District 203 board has abated the 2018 debt service levy and approved an additional $2 million abatement from the tax extension. The action was made in the interest of taxpayers. The average district homeowner of a $400,000 home will see a reduction in their tax bill by $75 with the abatement of the debt service levy. And an extra $50 could go back into homeowners’ pockets for the additional $2 million abated from the extension.

New 204 Principals

Some new principals have joined the District 204 team. Last night the school board welcomed Lance Fuhrer as Neuqua Valley’s new principal, along with Scott Loughrige as Scullen Middle School’s new principal, and Breah Jerger as principal of Kendall Elementary School.

Raridon All-American

The NCAA has released the Division III All-American teams and North Central College forward Connor Raridon was selected as a second team All American. Raridon is the fifth NCC player to make an All-American team in program history. The redshirt junior led the team in scoring and assists as the Cardinals won the CCIW tournament championship and advanced to the second round of the NCAA tournament this season.
