These kids might not be able to drive just yet, but they did get to sit behind the wheel of some big vehicles.
The Naperville Park District’s annual Wonderful World of Wheels event, held on Monday morning, gave kids an up close look at trucks, tractors, and emergency vehicles.
Some kids couldn’t contain their excitement after sitting in the driver’s seat.
“Which one did you sit in,” asked Annie, Merrick’s mom.
“Snowplow,” said Merrick, an attendee of the event.
“[I saw a] police car, two police cars, and a green pickup truck,” said Colin, another attendee of the event.
Several local businesses participated in the free event, which was held at the Whole Foods parking lot on 75th Street.
