Charged with Murder
An Aurora woman was charged with first degree murder of Naperville resident Scott Hardy, 54.
Jessica Hoskin, 29, knew Hardy and had met him at his apartment to watch “The Masked Singer” when an argument between them escalated after Hardy put his foot on the table, according to police. Hoskin is then alleged to have stabbed him in the neck.
Hardy was found dead in his apartment by his roommate on the 700 block of Inland Avenue on Tuesday night.
Turned Herself In
Hoskin turned herself in to Aurora police after failing to find an open door at the Naperville Police Station.
Bond was set at $500,000 at today’s hearing. Hoskin will next appear in court on November 5.
