Back to the Books

Naperville School District 203 has kicked off the new school year.

It was all smiles from parents, students, and teachers as students got back to the books.

“Well our daughter has been excited about this since the last day of first grade. So she’s been just so ecstatic about being in second grade,” said Mike Dahm, a parent of a Scott second grader.

“This morning we started out with a few outfit changes so we had to get the right outfit ready just to make sure we came to the first day of school and had the right start to the day,” added his wife Kerry Dahm.

New Learning Commons

Scott Elementary and Kennedy Junior High welcomes returning and new students, while also unveiling something new of their own.

Each school has a brand new learning commons ready to be broken in.

Scott’s LC features lounge areas and an ilab, while Kennedy’s has tons of space for group projects, including huddle rooms.

District 204’s first day of school began Monday, August 19.
