The City of Naperville has partnered with the social app WotNow to connect residents with happenings throughout the city.
Started by a Naperville resident, the free app allows users to follow venues, organizations and people to create a calendar that features events that may interest them right in their neighborhood.
“All our government meetings, and workshops and things that we ask our residents to participate in, but our calendar also gets populated with non-profits and other local events so those items will end up on the WotNow app as well,” said Linda LaCloche, Communications Manager with the City of Naperville.
The City of Naperville’s feed is similar to the calendar on their website. You can download the app through the Apple iTunes store or the Google Play store and search ‘City of Naperville.’
You can also follow other local agencies like the Naperville Park District, Naperville Public Library and Naper Settlement on the app.
