There’s more construction ahead for Naperville.
The culvert wall along Ogden Avenue over Cress Creek will be under construction beginning the week of May 1. The Illinois Department of Transportation will be replacing the wall, a job that’s expected to be finished in June.
During this time, the curb lane of eastbound Ogden Avenue between Royal St. George and Benedetti Drives at the creek will be closed to motorists between 6:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Expect delays and use caution when in the area.
Also that week – expect daily lane closures on both 75th Street and Book Road, as DuPage County starts improvements at that intersection. Changes include the extension of the existing left turn lanes on 75th Street, the addition of a southbound right turn lane on Book Road, and a left turn only arrow. That work should be done in mid-July.
