Things got groovy at Meson Sabika for the Community Career Center’s annual Dancing with the Celebrities fundraiser.
While all the couples danced their hearts out, the team of Bianca Morin and Luke Malczewski won the Judges’ Choice award with their dazzling cha-cha.
“I didn’t expect that at all,” said Bianca.
“I think she said she was going to get last place for sure when we started,” said Luke.
And the other big winners of the evening were Dean Washington and his partner Paulina Struk, who came away as the Grand Champions after showing off their crowd-pleasing tango.
But unlike Bianca, Dean said he wasn’t surprised to take home the mirror ball.
“It’s exciting,” said Dean. “We were going for it from day one.”
“We were in it to win it, so we did it,” said Paulina.
Proceeds from Dancing with the Celebrities benefit the Community Career Center.
