Karen Sullivan, superintendent of Indian Prarie School District 204, will be retiring in 2020.
She announced her plans to the school board at their latest meeting, letting them know she’ll be stepping down when her current contract expires in June of that year.
Sullivan has worked in the district for 22 years, serving as superintendent for the past five.
District 204 is beginning their process of finding a new superintendent. They plan to select a search firm by June 10 to assist them in the process.
