It’s Easter weekend, and that means lots of happenings here in town!

Today and tomorrow, you can go take a photo with the Easter Bunny for free in the lobby of Hotel Indigo on Water Street. He’ll be there from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. on both days.

Tonight it’s Kids Night Out at the Fort Hill Activity Center, with the theme “Bunny Hop.” From 6 to 9 p.m. kids can have dinner, do some crafts, egg hunt, and have an egg race…and parents can head out for their own fun.

Saturday morning is the 36th annual Jaycee Easter Egg Hunt. Kids from 1 to 8 years old can head out to the Frontier Park Sports Complex to put as many eggs in their bucket as they can. The hunt starts at 9 a.m. but you should get there at least 30 minutes early – parking is limited. Also, nonperishable food items will be collected if you’d like to donate.

Or, you can head to Safety Town from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., for a “Hoppy Easter.” It’s $10 per family – that along with a nonperishable food item gets you in for an egg hunt, a photo-op with the Easter Bunny, some live bunnies, extra treat stations and an instrument petting zoo.

Also Saturday – Naperville Trinity Church of the Nazarene has both an Easter egg hunt and pancake breakfast for kids up to 4th grade. That event takes place from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Then on Sunday – check out https://www.dinenaperville.com/ for some ideas of where to head for Easter Brunch – a number of local restaurants will be taking part.
