A New Studio
A new studio has opened up at Fort Hill Activity Center.
“We were at capacity, or not filling in for our current spaces. We were moving spaces into our multi-purpose room, into the gymnasium. So we needed to expand, we were getting more participation than we could hold in our classes,” said Susan Nance, superintendent of facilities.
The new “Studio D” has plenty of room for fitness fun.
The 4,000 square-foot space can fit up to 70 people for yoga, cycling, and other light-workout classes.
After the Ceremony
After the ribbon cutting ceremony, guests were able to look at the new space, take a spin on the bikes, and participate in a complimentary yoga class.
The new studio will also have video screens to use during classes, which they hope to add by the end of the year.
