It was Team Kisses versus Team Hugs in the “Love is a Battlefield” Valentine’s Day theme of Game On!’s sixth episode.

Team Kisses included Joe Chura, Pam Bartlett, Mark Puknaitis, and Alissa Johnson Tripas.

While fighting for Team Hugs was Tom Carroll, Michelle Dellinger, Tim Pabich, and Kimberly White.

“I think I’ve done some dangerous things in my life but this one really was a little frightening at first,” said Mark Puknaitis. “But we all came together, we had a fun time doing it, and what a great event, I really support it and I’m glad I was able to participate.”

“It’s a blast and it helps a really great cause. Community television is super important and I was delighted to be a part of it,” said Michelle Dellinger.

“Absolutely, NCTV17 rocks,” added Kimberly White. “Again if you’re able to do it you’re going to meet three new friends and just have a lot of fun doing it.”

The game show was hosted by 95.9 The River’s Danielle Tufano, who has found with each episode contestants have the same nerves.

“It’s always fun to see the contestants before they go on stage and then once they get on stage because everyone’s always super nervous before we start. And the moment they get on stage something just snaps with them and they’re in their element and they have a great time,” explained Tufano.

And some lucky audience members in the Center Stage Theater even got to join in on some of the fun.

“Well it was sort of shocking when you get your name pulled out of the hat but once I was up there it was just try to focus on answering the question and seeing what you know and what you don’t know,” said Skip Seary, one of the audience members randomly chosen to join a game.

Game On! Is a fundraiser that helps support NCTV17. If you couldn’t catch the live show you can join us for the watch party at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 20 at Aurelio’s Pizza in Springbrook Square.
