It’s said that nurses are the “Heart of Healthcare” and at Edward Hospital’s oncology department that certainly seems to be true. Their nurses are the ones at the beside, encouraging cancer patients during their treatment, tending to their families, and coordinating behind the scenes with doctors to keep patients safe. But there’s one nurse in particular, who goes so above and beyond, she’s worthy of being named this month’s “Healthy Driven Hero.”
