Kids headed over to the 95th Street Library for a contest sure to cool them off.
It was all part of the sixth annual Ice Cream Taste-Off.
Participants got the chance to do a blind taste test of three different brands of ice cream in the flavors of chocolate, vanilla, and mint chocolate chip.
They scored each sample based on the taste they enjoyed most and ranked their favorite.
While the votes were being tallied they played ice cream trivia to add to the fun.
Among the brands of Turkey Hill, Deans and Breyers, Turkey Hill won the taste-off in all three flavors.
