A local youth task force is gathering data to help teenagers with stress.
KidsMatter worked with North Central psychology professor Patricia Schacht to create a survey that will help find the cause of what’s stressing teens out.
The survey has been distributed to seventh and tenth graders of districts 203 and 204.
Students are asked to report levels of stress triggers like academic and athletic pressures, relationships, bullying, social media, drugs, and alcohol.
Parental consent is required before students can anonymously submit the electronic survey to KidsMatter.
The results will be presented at the State of the Kids Community Forum this January at the Naperville City Hall.
