Naperville native Kaylin Risvold will be taking on the role of President and CEO of the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce.

Her Goals

“I want us to be the standard for how chambers move to the future, and I want to future-proof the chamber,” she said. “I want to involve more youth, I want to involve more of the community, and really work to connect with people.”

Her Background

Risvold is a graduate of Naperville Central High School and got her Master’s at North Central College.

She was most recently the director of media strategy for the Alzheimer’s Association Illinois Chapter.

Hiring Her On

“She’s somebody that just immediately stood out to us through her passion, her communications background, her nonprofit background, and really her integrity,” said Ian Holzhauer, the chair of the CEO Selection Task Force.

Hello and Goodbye

Risvold has big shoes to fill, as current president and CEO Nicki Anderson steps down from the position, which she’s had for over five years.

Risvold’s first day on the job is October 24.
