The Naperville Fire Department has reason to celebrate. The group has been awarded its fifth consecutive accreditation from the Center of Public Safety Excellence. This status requires a rigorous self-assessment, strategic plan, and risk hazard assessment, all of which the fire department has incorporated into their day-to-day operations.
The process leads to a more efficient and effective emergency response team. The Naperville Fire Department is one of only two departments to achieve accreditation five consecutive times.
