Naperville public high schools are making the grade.

They’ve all made it onto U.S. News & World Reports’ 2018 Best High Schools list.

For the first time, all three District 204 high schools are in the top 25 of schools in our state, with Neuqua at 16, Metea at 19, and Waubonsie at 24. District 203 schools weren’t far behind, with Naperville Central at 28, and Naperville North at 29.

And all the high schools made it onto the national listing as well, which was made after studying more than 20,000 public high schools across our country. Rankings were based on state assessments, graduation rates, and college preparedness. All five of our local public schools achieved silver medal status.

You can see a full list of the rankings at www.usnews.com.
