When a Naperville mom checked her baby monitor one night last week, she saw what looked like a “ghost baby” in the crib with her son. The mother, Maritza Cibuls, grabbed a flashlight and went into the room to investigate, but saw nothing wrong.
The next morning, Cibuls dug a bit deeper into the paranormal mystery and discovered something a bit less disturbing: a tag on the mattress was visible thanks to the light from the baby monitor. Cibuls also joked that none of the panic would have been necessary if her husband had remembered to put on the mattress protector.
Cibuls’ ghost baby post on Facebook has been shared more than 290,000 times at the time of this post.
