The summer job hunt just got a little easier.

Today at the Alfred Rubin Riverwalk Community Center, the Naperville Park District hosted their 2nd annual job fair.

Anyone interested in part-time and seasonal jobs were welcome to learn more.

“There are a lot of good jobs here and I haven’t really found anything specific that I want to do but I definitely think there are good opportunities here,” said attendee Ryan Brannigan.

The Riverwalk Café, Centennial Beach, and many other park district affiliated organizations had information booths and applications.

“A good easy-going environment for job seekers to come in and meet with our hiring managers,” said Janyll Cashamn, the park district’s human resources administrator. “And high schoolers, we have a bunch of positions for them and I know their parents, they have their questions too. So we figured we’d open our doors and give them that chance to be able to come in and speak to the hiring managers and get their questions answers.”

Positions with different sports clubs and volunteer opportunities also had tables and hiring managers to talk with attendees.

“I basically wanted to come to the job fair because I would like to have a job over the summer,” said David Luchok, an attendee.

“It’s a good opportunity and I think working in Naperville would be really good,” added attendee Jonathan Gleason.
