A new 61-home development is coming to the Clow Creek Farm subdivision.
The Naperville City Council recently approved the 31.5-acre development, which will also be annexed to the city.
Oak Hill Builders will build the custom homes southwest of Book Road and 103rd Street.
The average lot size in the subdivision will be about 12,500 square feet – larger than the 9,000 square foot average of the surrounding developments.
Plans also include a monument made of stones from the old buildings on the property dedicated to the Clow family, some of the first Will County settlers.
Those buildings do not require historic preservation, but council did ask the developer to contact Naper Settlement to see if the museum would like to photograph them before they are torn down.
Oak Hill Builders also developed the Stillwater and Ashbury subdivisions.
