Yuletide Fest

There’s a new holiday experience in town.

“Yuletide Fest is a winter festival designed to bring a little bit of holiday cheer out here to the Naper Settlement,” said Event Manager Erin Hesch. “We have mulled wine, hot beverages, hot cocoa. We have vendors selling ornaments and cakes and brownies. And we have beautiful lights and Christmas trees all around. I’m particularly proud of the gazebo that we lit up.”

And after posing for photos with the twinkling lights, you can grab your hot cocoa and warm up at the fire pits.

Different performers and winter princesses will stop by the fest and kids will be able to pen their letters to Santa.

A New Holiday Event

Although Christkindlmarket isn’t around this year, Yuletide Fest may be a new event to try out.

“We understand that Christkindlmarket in Naperville was a holiday tradition for many Napervillians and beyond in the community. We were saddened too when they decided not to renew that contract, but it opens up this new opportunity,” said Naper Settlement Communications Team Leader Abbey Bobzin. “And we really hope that the community’s going to come out, give it a fair chance, and really enjoy all that we have to offer because that’s what the holidays are all about, spreading the cheer.”

Yuletide Fest is open on the weekends until December 22.
