Halloween Event

Nichols Library’s Halloween on the Riverwalk had to be moved inside, but that didn’t bring the excitement down.

Kids of all ages were decked out in their costumes and filled up the library’s community room to get ready for a spook-tacular time.

“We have Halloween stories, Halloween songs for the kids to move and dance around. We have what are called prop stories, which are big stories told with props instead of actually reading the book,” said Liz Londe, children’s services associate at the library.

Spook-tacular Activities

After bopping their heads to the music, singing along, and shaking all that energy out with their dance moves, everyone settled down for a puppet show.

And of course, it wouldn’t be a Halloween event without getting a sweet treat at the end.
