Two Naperville police officers were injured Saturday during the arrest of a Wisconsin man.

Around 4 a.m., police were called to the 400 block of South Washington Street to investigate the report of a suspicious person. Once there, they learned the man, 34-year-old James Michael Rohrer, had a warrant out for his arrest.

When police tried to arrest him, he struggled and attempted to flee. Police say both officers received non-life threatening injuries in the process. One of those injured received treatment at Edward Hospital and was later released.

Rohrer now faces not only his fugitive from justice charge, but also battery and resisting a police officer.
