The Naperville Fire Department rescued someone from a house that caught on fire. At 9:43 this morning, firefighters arrived at the 800 block of Main Street after they received the call.

Two people made it out, but one person was still inside. Naperville Police and firefighters were able to get the third person out from the first floor of the home, and they were taken to the hospital for evaluation and treatment. The other two were looked over at the scene and are not hurt.

Several pets were rescued, with one pet still unaccounted for.

The Home

Smoke was visible throughout the split-level house and there was fire in the basement. The residence cannot be lived in anymore.

Ongoing Investigation

The Naperville Fire Department investigation team is looking into how the fire started. No firefighters were injured.
