We say goodbye to Naperville notable Frank Slocumb.
Frank enjoyed a 35-year career with Harris Bank, with many of those years spent in community banking right here in Naperville as president of the local branch. The community focus fit Frank to a tee, as he quickly found himself in volunteer leadership positions at Edward Hospital and the Naperville Development Partnership.
His charitable nature was shown through his inclusion in many more groups, including the Rotary Club of Naperville, the Millennium Carillon Foundation, and St. Patrick’s Residence.
Frank retired in 2008 and remained a resident of Naperville along with his wife Kay. His son Jack has continued in the family business of banking. Frank died January 9 at the age of 72.
