Santa House Goes Up in Naperville

A lot of busy Naperville Park District elves have been hard at work putting up the Santa House.

This is the 18th year the little red house at Jackson Avenue and Webster Street has been prepped for the man in red’s arrival.

Transforming the Riverwalk

“Anyone who’s been on the Naperville Riverwalk any other time of year, probably recognizes what’s behind me is our Free Speech Pavilion. It’s just a regular old picnic type pavilion and now it’s being magically transformed into Santa House,” said Sameera Luthman, the director of marketing and communications at the Naperville Park District.

New this year is the view – as Naper Lights will now shine across the river in the Water Street District.

Santa starts his visits on November 30, and will be spreading his holiday cheer through December 22 on weekends and some weeknights.  You can check out the Park District’s website for hours and special event nights.
