Bien Trucha Group has opened a new restaurant on Water Street, and it’s serving up both sights and bites.

Santo Cielo is located on the fifth floor of Hotel Indigo, providing scenic views of the surrounding area.

Chief Business Officer Julio Cano said ambience is something they work hard to create in all of the group’s restaurants.

“Sharing the same DNA of our group which is creating an overall experience,” said Cano. “It’s not only food it’s not only drinks, it’s also the ambience. It’s the music it’s the service.”

And it’s the view. Santo Cielo has clear sightlines to Moser Tower, Downtown Naperville, and the surrounding area.

The restaurant includes a dining room, a private events room and a lounge bar area, all with a view right into the heart of the kitchen.

And that’s where Cano says they’ve gotten very creative.

Bien Trucha Group’s other restaurants all serve Mexican-inspired food, including Quiubo just across the street. But Santo Cielo will feature dishes from around the world.

“It’s going to be a very globally-inspired cuisine,” said Cano. “We have a tagline that it’s ‘a kitchen without boundaries’. So we want to be open to every single cuisine. We’re going to be playing around with a lot of seasonal ingredients, what’s in season, what’s available in this area. We’re going to be drawing from different recipes all over the world.”

Offering upscale tastes, downtown.
