Small Business Saturday
Small Business Saturday is the shopping holiday to celebrate in Downtown Naperville.
“It’s a wonderful way to look at the unique items that we have in our downtown shops, the atmosphere that we have, and how we can all really celebrate small businesses to keep our community strong,” said Rachel Wiencek, general manager at Trails & Tides Naperville.
“You’re really helping support people’s dreams. Small businesses are owned by people that have wanted to own their shop forever, and now they have the opportunity to do that,” said Marisa Hird, manager at Naperville Running Company.
Helping the Community
According to London Skye owner Joellen Elam, for every dollar you spend, 67 cents stays in the community.
Small Business Saturday is part of a national shopping holiday started by American Express.
