It was non-stop shoveling for Naperville residents. Clearing snow from their driveways and cars as the storm brought in a total of 6 inches of snow .
“It’s kind of late right? This season, there was one [snow storm] before but this one we expected a while ago,” said Naperville resident Zhenjun Zheu.
The city of Naperville sent out 22 snow trucks and outsourced 50 more to try and clear the city’s roadways and will continue throughout the night.
According to the National Weather Service, temperatures are also expected to drop down in the evening to 22 degrees with winds up to 20-25 mph, making for icy road conditions.
City officials are asking residents to stay and if you must go out take precautions, and drive slowly as it will take time to clear out the roads.
