Support for students was the topic at the latest Focus 203 community engagement session.
Titled “Every Student Achieves – Every Student Grows,” the session allowed District 203 parents, educators, and community members to discuss the ways students are supported in their schools.
“There is no such thing as a perfect district or a perfect scenario,” said District 203 parent Keri King. “So as a parent I want to collaborate and continue that dialogue with teachers and administrators, just ensuring that things progress and we are doing so as a partnership.”
After a presentation from administrators, participants took part in a workshop to come up with solutions to help provide more resources to better support students and review those that are already in place.
Some ideas included providing more resources for parents and improving communication from the district to the 203 community.
The next Focus 203 sessions will be held on January 30 and 31.
