Downtown Naperville might be getting a virtual reality playground.
At the latest planning and zoning meeting, the group approved a conditional use permit for VR-360.
The virtual reality playground would be located at 22 East Chicago Avenue in the River Square Shopping Center.
Customers would use virtual reality headsets to play games and explore scenarios and landscapes ranging from roller coasters and skydiving to sport outings and worldwide sightseeing.
VR-360 would be the first place of its kind in Naperville.
The proposal now goes to city council for final approval.
