The Y Sports Complex is officially closing.
Effective August 14, the sports complex located off of Schoger Drive in Naperville will be closed, and the building will be put up for sale shortly after.
“Looking at our operations with that facility over the last few years, it’s not one that’s sustainable so we’ve made the decision to close that facility and move all our programs to our other YMCA facilities to continue our other programs that we have been doing for over 20 years in the community,” said Executive Director of the Naperville YMCAs, RJ Bartels.
The Naperville community enjoyed the Y Sports Complex for more than 16 years.
A majority of the sports programs will continue at the Fry YMCA.
