We’ve got a DVC Boys Cross Country meet on a brisk fall morning as Waubonsie Valley High School.
The Race
The boys are off and running- the distance for this race is three miles.
After the first turn the boys are in a tight pack. Naperville North’s Jake Allen, Neuqua’s Nick Dovalocsky and Central’s Arthur Graham lead the pack and everyone else starts to set their paces.
After the first lap around the course, Allen and Dovalovsky remain out in front and the Waubonsie pack is close behind. Nick Benzinger leads the way for the warriors.
Halfway through the race, Jake Allen starts to pull away. Nick Dovalovsky still going strong in second place. Arthur Graham and Zach Benzinger aren’t far behind.
In the end, Jake Allen was able to hang on for the individual win with a time of fifteen minutes. Nick Dovalovsky ran 1 15:07 and the Naperville North Huskies were able to win the DVC Boys Cross Country Meet as a team with a big pile of Huskies finish together.
