We got some action on the ice at All Seasons with the undefeated Warriors Hockey Club facing the Naperville North Huskies in the final regular season game. The Warriors hope to achieve the impressive feat of an undefeated regular season in the Illinois West without a loss in regulation. These teams met in the championship of the Carillon Cup back in November as the Huskies hope to avenge that early season loss. This highlight is sponsored by BMO Harris Bank.

1st Period

First period as Ryan Callahan works his way through the North defense. Behind the net, he dishes to Ian Altekruse who converts on the one-timer. That makes it 1-0 Warriors.

The Hockey Club is on the attack again. Evan Ziegler takes the puck off the boards and makes a great pass to Kyler Campfield for the score. It’s 2-0 Green and Gold.

The Huskies have an answer as Luke Peters whiffs on the pass and Charlie Szymczak (Sim-zack) takes it away. He corrals the puck and puts it in the back of the net to get them on the board at 2-1.

Although the Warriors regain momentum with Ian Altekruse’s as he shoots and scores his second goal of the night. They lead 3-1 at the end of the first period.

2nd Period

It’s 3-2 in the second and Evan Ziegler gets in the scoring column off the feed from Kyler Campfield to put his squad up 4-2.

3rd Period

Moving to the third period, the green and gold seal the deal with Ziegler finding Ryan Callahan who guides the puck into the net. The Warriors Hockey Club picks up a 5-2 win over Naperville North Huskies at All Seasons and they move to 23-0 on the season.
