We get a tri-meet at Metea Valley as the newest DVC member, DeKalb dives in against the Mustangs and the Naperville Central Redhawks.

200 Medley Relay

We start first in the water with the 200 yard Medley Relay. Metea and Central have swimmers neck in neck coming down the stretch and it’ll be Metea’s Aimee Patterson who taps first for the relay in 1:49.23.

200 Medley

We stick with the 200 medley but drop the relay and again, it’s another tight race until the last 50 yards where Redhawk Paige Collins pulls ahead to finish in 2 minutes and 12. 79 seconds.

50 Yard Free

Fastest race diving in now with Metea’s Kellie Willhite and Aimme Patterson as favorites and they don’t disappoint as Willhite taps in first in 24.2 seconds and Patterson in 24.66 seconds.

100 Yard Butterfly

Record break McKenna Stone diving in for the 100 fly up against Central’s Alexa Puccini. And the mustang, in the furthest out lane taps in dominating fashion in 55.58 seconds. Puccini two seconds behind.

100 Yard Backstroke

Start in the water for the next race, the 100 yard back stroke. Puccini just scorching past everyone in this one, tapping three seconds ahead of anyone else in 59.80 seconds.

400 Yard Free Relay

Last event of the night now with the 400 yard freestyle relay. Redhawks get the great start and Paige Collins seals the deal as the anchor, which helps Naperville Central take the tri-cake with Metea  Valley in second.
