Metea Valley, entering their third consecutive game against Naperville Central, undefeated on the year, look to continue that trend against the Redhawks who look for their second win of the year.
First Inning
Top of the first with a runner on second, Metea’s Clay Billadeau up to the plate, pops one up but gets the RBI after an error. Metea up 1-0.
Bottom of the first now, runners in the corners, Centrals Jared Suchevits hits a three run shot to left for the Redhawks to grab the lead, 3-1.
Fourth Inning
Central up 4-1 now in the bottom of the fourth, again, runners in the corners. Dino Biggers singes to left for an RBI, 5-1 now.
Fifth Inning
Central in the field now and Kyle Steele throwing gas over the plate to strike out Clay Billadeau to end the fifth with Central on top 7-1.
Seventh Inning
Top of the seventh and Centrals out fielders helping to the cause. Joe Wooten makes a great diving catch to seal the victory for the Redhawks, 7-2.
