Early season conference match up at Metea Valley High School as the mustangs host the Naperville Central Redhawks.
#1 Singles
Number one singles has mustang Nitya Nagarajan against Central Ria Jha.
Jha able to sneak on by Nitya for the early game 1 point.
Nitya answers though. She gets a strong overhand smash to take game one 21-10.
Game 2 action now. Nitya makes a great save with her racquet on the ground but Ria is able to find room to finish for the point.
But the state veteran was able to close things out. Nitya with the two game win, 21-10, 21-9.
#4 Singles
Stick with the singles but we move to the fours with Centrals Natasha Roy against Mustangs Mahathi Vutukuru and boy was it a battle. Natasha is able to force a misplay and takes game one 30-28.
Second game now and Mahathi is able to float one to the back court and keeps it in for the point.
Results
But Natasha and the Naperville Central would be too powerful on the court against the mustangs taking the match 11-4.
