We go next to 126 with Tyler Drieseens going for NC… Kenny Siwicki battling for Metea.
And in the second period, Siwicki has the Redhawk locked up – before turning him over and nabbing another pin.
132 lbs
Moving on to the bout at 132… Central’s Alex Knusel going up against Metea’s Esteban Calderon… and despite seeming to have secured a single-leg grab, Calderon finds himself on the wrong end of a reverse – and Knusel rallies late to take a 12-9 win in three periods.
160 lbs
Next to the Redhawk, Sean King, and the Mustang, Ethan Miller – colliding at 160. And immediately, King with the take down and cut for the lead. Later on, King has his opponent fighting to stay off his back – and King ends it with a pin. NC up 42-0
195 lbs
Metea’s only win of the night comes at the 195 pound weight class compliments of Sean Burke. He’s going up against Central’s Austin Langmire and gets the takedown mid-match. The Mustang would win due to stalling but the Redhawks take the win in grand fashion.
