We get a best of the west rematch as the huskies face off against the redhawks. Last time these two teams met, North defeated Naperville Central 2-1.
First Half
In the first half, the huskies looking to strikes first. Alex Barger with the free kick that finds the head of Nata Rojas which then finds the back of the net. Huskies up 1-0
Getting darker near the end of the first half, Throw in near the corner for the huskies… it bounces around for a little bit until Central tries to clear it but instead it goes in to the back of the net. North up 2-0.
Second Half
In to the second half now, North still up by 2. It’s Central’s turn for a throw in from the corner and Rohan Bhargava finds twine to cut the huskie lead in half, trailing by just 1.
Game winding down now, North still up 1. Ty Konrad in the corner sends the leading pass to Zach Smith who heads it in to put this game on ice as North is now 2-0 against Naperville Central.
