Naperville Central looking for a big road win as they travel to Neuqua Valley. Last time these two teams faced off, the wildcats walked away with the win.
The Meet
We start first with the Wildcats and Lauren Cordero. She goes full speed at the vault and twisting off of it to land an 8.2 score.
We stay with the wildcats and move over to bars with Susan Jones. Her routine looking smooth as she transitions up to the high bar and then gains some momentum before flipping off, landing her a 7.4 score.
Redhawk Marissa Swanson on the beam and she does some jumps before focusing on her dismount. For the exit, it’s a roundoff layout off the beam scoring her a 7.25 score. Top score for the redhawks.
Teammate Joanna Huang also on beam, exiting with an ariel off the end for a 6.9 score. Joanna would be the only competitor for the redhawks in the all-around scoring a 27.
We go to the floor with Marissa Swanson and her pass of a round off back handspring full helps her to the best redhawk floor routine score of a 7.8.
Wildcat Susan Jones now turning up the music for her floor routine. This pass of a roundoff with two back handsprings and a layout helps her to an 8.1 and the top all around score of the day with a 30.85 which helps the wildcats defeat Naperville Central for the second time 121.45 to 110.
