Naperville North and Naperville Central meeting for the second time this year with both teams sitting just above .500 on the season.
First Set
Central leading by one in the first set, Redhawk Sam Wichhart sets up Carter Stenmark for the long range kill. Redhawks up 12-10.
Few points later and we get a little bit of back and forth action. Wichhart ties to set up Stenmark again but Dillon Bramlett is there for the Huskies block to tie the game at 13.
Central looking to pull ahead, up by 3 later in the first set, Wichhart sets up John McCormack this time, straight up straight down for central to extend their lead 22-18.
First set point, Wichhart chooses Stenmark again for the kill. The blast goes off the huskie arms for Central to take the first set 25-21.
Second Set
To the second and Central already in the lead, Wichart, again to Stenmark who paints the back line with the kill. Wichhart has an impressive 25 assists on the night at central leads 8-5.
Huskies still hanging on though, Wojcik sets up Dillon Bramlett on the outside who finds space between the blocks to tie the game up at 9.
We jump in mid rally later in set two as Stenmark makes an impressive dig allowing the Redhawks to reset but the bass from North goes too long and Finn Wolfe gets up at the net for a hulk smash. 18-16 Central.
Central up by 3 later in the set… well make that 4 after Wichhart connects with Wolfe for another monster kill, 23-19.
Redhawks looking to close out the set, a sneaky attack by Wichhart gets duh out by John Jaworski and the huskies eventually reset only to have Wichhart connect with McCormack who gets the put down for Central to sweep their rivals in two sets 25-21, 25-20.
