Naperville North and Naperville Central teaming up for a pediatric cancer fundraiser and dual meet at Naperville Central. All swimmers donning yellow caps in support of Cal’s Angels.

200 Yard Medley Relay

Diving in first is the 200 medley relay. Going in to the anchor, north leading by not even a full dive as Huskie Megan Simonson and Central’s Maggie Toennis jump in. Coming down the stretch, it’ll be north in 1 minute and 51 point 47 seconds.

200 Yard IM

Next up, the 200 IM. Central’s Paige Collins going up against North’s Katelyn Chan. The Redhawk will come gliding in to finish in first 2 minutes 16.85 seconds. Chan in second two seconds behind her.

50 Yard Freestyle

Quickest race of the night on the blocks now, the 50 free. It’ll be a closer race but Huskie Megan Simonson taps just before teammate Klara Gilvydis. .7 seconds between the two.

100 Yard Backstroke

Flip over to your back for the 100 yard backstroke. This is another tight race between Alexa Puccini and Amanda Ng. Puccini pulls out the faster time in 1 minute point 41 seconds. Ng point 4 seconds later.

100 Yard Breaststroke

Next up on the heat sheet, the 100 yard breaststroke. North’s Madelyn Konrad is the first to finish in this one in 1 minute 10 point 81 seconds. Her teammate Cameryn Schmidt followers her in second.

400 Yard Freestyle Relay

We round out this crosstown classic with the final race, the 400 free relay. Going in to the anchor, both north and central are neck and neck and now it’s down to Paige Collins for Central and Kelly Zhou for north. They keep pace with each other but Zhou taps first for north in 3:39.47 seconds. Central not even a full second behind them. That big relay finish helps Naperville North finish with the crosstown W, 104 to 66.
