Jacob Lubrant and Naperville North head into Valley territory to take on the Waubonsie Metea CO-Op as they look to clinch a share of the DVC championship with Neuqua.

First Quarter

North is the first to get on the board in the first quarter. Colin Kaiser with the ball, he makes a nice dodger around a defender and gets the low shot to go, opening up scoring.

The Valley hanging with the Huskies though, Jake Meyer breaks some ankles and then walks in to bounce the shot past Jake Allgood to tie the game up at 1.

7 minutes left in the first. Jacob Lubrant acting like he isn’t going to score… until he does, bouncing the shot past Benson to put North in the lead 2-1.

Five minutes left in the first and North forces a turnover. Grant Pass picks up the ground ball and goes by everyone and then hits top shelf. North leads 5-1 at the end of the first.

Second Quarter

Valley tailing by five with three minutes left in the second. Garret Ruden drives but runs in to a wall. He passes inside to Jake Minglin for the goal, cutting Norths lead to 4.

37 seconds left until intermission, North getting fancy with passes. Jacob Lubrant sneaks his way in to the middle and then bounces a shot past Benson for his fourth goal of the game, 8-2 at half.

Third Quarter

11 minutes left in the third, Matthew Maschmeier driving and hits Mikey Ancona knocking on the doorstep for the goal, Huskies up big 9-2.

Huskies up by 8… make that 9 after a little tick tock toe action before Jack Young scores right in front of the net, 11-2 huskies.

The dogs would continue their dominance into the fourth. Mikey Ancona on the doorstep grabs another goal for the orange and blue as Naperville North clinches a share of the DVC championship with Neuqua Valley with the win 12-4.
